I hold a Ph.D. in Disability Studies from the University of Illinois at Chicago. My dissertation focuses on healthcare communication access to examine healthcare providers\u2019 and Deaf patients\u2019 experiences and preferences for using Video Remote Interpreting and in-person interpreting for critical care and non-critical care. I am currently writing an article about my reflections on accommodating a mixed-methods study.
