Description of Work:

I am currently working toward a doctoral degree in the English department at The Ohio State University. I like to think of myself as an interdisciplinary scholar working in the fields of disability studies, RHM, and material rhetorics, and I find myself interested in a host of medical/rhetorical topics I’d love to explore further. My friends and I have an ongoing group called MedChat for this sole purpose: to think more deeply about medical topics we notice in the world today. For now, though, I’m working on a dissertation project that centers on the mental health, material realities, labor conditions, and human rights of humanities graduate students in the face of COVID-19.
