I\u2019ve recently started as an assistant professor of English at North Central College. My research centers on issues of technology care and use in situations of disability and health. In particular, my recent work examines how families and children with complex communication needs learn to interact with and through communication technology. I\u2019m interested in how the popular and technical rhetoric surrounding these technologies relate to families\u2019 experiences with technology use and adoption.
