My dissertation research analyzed scientific, public, and patient discourses about traumatic brain injury (TBI). My submission to the symposium, an analysis of scientific discourse about clinical trial failures, is an extension of that work.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I have recently moved from an English department to a pharmacy program, where I teach writing courses for pharmacy students and conduct faculty development.
