Description of Work:

Soyeon Lee teaches writing courses at Houston Community College. Her current research centers on empirical studies on community-based ecological disaster literacy and health communication. While working as a fellow at Sweetland Digital Rhetoric Collaborative during 2019-2020, she promoted scholarly conversations in community literacy and public writing pedagogy through social justice and environmental justice paradigms. Recently, she completed her dissertation and received her doctoral degree in 2020 at the University of Houston.
