Mathias Møllebæk
PhD fellow
University of Copenhagen
Description of Work:I primarily study rhetorical and sociological aspects of medical risk information that addresses regulatory, clinical and/or non-technical publics, such as medicine risk advisories, clinical guidelines and public hearings.
I also study how the social imaginaries that underpin biomedical regulation and policy are articulated and contested in public discourse, for example the Danish universalist welfare imaginary.
I am currently a PhD fellow at the Copenhagen Centre for Regulatory Science, University of Copenhagen. I hold an MA in Rhetoric from the same university and I have been a visiting research fellow at the University of Texas, Harvard Medical School and the University of British Columbia.
