I am a doctoral student in Communication, Rhetoric, and Digital Media at North Carolina State University. My broad research interests are digital rhetoric, networked communication, and health/risk communication in the global context. The project I am currently working on focuses on the risks that Chinese immigrant women face during the COVID-19 pandemic. I am interested in exploring how digital media plays a role in shaping this socially neglected group of people’s communication practices and mitigating their risks in the global pandemic.
