My research focuses on the rhetoric of health and medicine, with an emphasis on disability studies and programmatic and professionalization dimensions of the field of technical and professional communication. I am the editor of Rhetorical AccessAbility and with Blake Scott, the editor of Methodologies for the Rhetoric of Health and Medicine.
