Graduate Student Opportunity
We are pleased to announce a unique opportunity for graduate students working in medical rhetoric (broadly defined).
At this time, we are soliciting materials from graduate students working in the area of health and medicine. We will be able to fully fund a graduate student to attend the event.
Interested students should send (as one *.pdf file)
- short statement that describes their work and explains how attendance at the symposium will be beneficial to their careers (no more than 1000 words)
- current CV
- letter of support from their advisor that (1) confirms the student’s status as a graduate student and (2) details their support for the student’s attendance
Applications are due by June 1, 2013; email to Meloncon@tek-ritr.com.
The selected student will have the opportunity to do a work-in-progress presentation for feedback from a panel of scholars.
